Located in downtown Fremont, Slap Face Coffee & Tea is the place to be in the tri-city area.
The coffee shop is vastly spacious with different kinds of seating to accommodate all needs. They have small to large tables, individual seating and even separate study rooms. They also have a second floor for those looking for something a little more secluded.
Their menu is very traditional; lattes, Americanos, cappuccinos. However the baristas are very knowledgeable and skilled enough to whip up any custom drink of your liking. Their menu also boasts a wide selection of brewed coffees such as “La Virgen,” a Colombian coffee with hints of citrus and caramel and “Tulio Potrillo,” a coffee from Honduras with hints of honey.
I decided to go with a simple Americano with Breve. I enjoyed how the barista allowed me to pour my own milk directly from the gallon right at the bar. Taste wise it was everything an Americano is supposed to be; robust espresso flavor.
I’m definitely a fan of Slap Face Coffee & Tea. The menu is a bit sparse but the coffee is great. They also host poetry slams and karaoke nights, which I plan on attending in the near future. 4/5 stars.
